Wendy's favorite "Beauty Basics"Make your own facial toner by combining eight ounces of mineral water with two drops essential oil, such as peppermint or lavender. Store in the refrigerator for an invigorating skin boost. For dry hair, mash one ripe banana with a teaspoon of almond oil and massage in to dry or damp hair. Let sit for 20 minutes and rinse thoroughly. For oily hair, mix equal amounts of aloe vera gel and shampoo, plus a tablespoon of lemon juice. For a quick weight-loss boost, garlic and papaya tablets are a favorite of many models. You can get these tablets at the health food store. Drink lots of water!! Great for skin, hair, nails, and flushing out harmful toxins. For extra cleansing benefits, add some lemon. For beautiful teeth, mix a little baking soda and hydrogen peroxide together and use as a “paste” once a week. This will remove stains and plaque. If cellulite is a problem, massage some lemon or grapefruit essentail oil (in a base of almond or sesame oil) into affected areas regularly. Coffee grounds (warm, caffeinated)also help to improve the look of cellulite when massaged into skin in the shower. Caffeine is a main ingredient in many cellulite cream that cost a fortune. |
